BLUE LINE

Roles: Producer, Concept Artist, 3D Artist and Narrative Writter

In a simplified way, Blue Line is a game where Illya Valeria, along with her two friends Yerik Yegor and Tallulah Geophagus, explore the Blue Line Valley, and try to find a way to escape from the place because of the existence of a war between the Humans and Tritons (the two species that live in the Valley). In a gameplay context, the player controls the three friends through a Third-Person perspective, being able not only to jump, fight and swim (depending on the character they control), but also to collect items, push objects, activate mechanisms and solve puzzles.

Development Time: 1st iteration: 6 to 7 weeks; 2nd iteration: 5 to 6 weeks.
Total: 11 to 12 weeks.

Challenges: Create a game with more than 1 playable character and a dungeon to explore.

Struggles: We got problems in managing the project's development time and scope due to other college's works. Also, it was difficult to create/implement music as none member of the team worked at the sound department before.

Post-Mortem:
